Bob didn’t want to go into a retirement village because he liked our home and his independence and wanted to keep living with us. ACG’s management were able to assist us to apply for an Aged Care Package for Bob. The application was successful and we received the funding which Bob required to attend to his needs, which are now provided by ACG’s carers.
In 2017 we decided to switch to ACG following a referral from a family friend. We have now been with ACG for 6 years and are very happy with the service we have been receiving. The Carer provided by ACG speaks Mandarin which facilitates communication. The Carer attends to all of Sarah’s needs including personal hygiene, feeding, dressing, travel to Physios, etc.
ACG’s management assist with preparing budgets for the annual NDIS reviews and provide advice to those reviews. We have been very happy with the outcome of those reviews.
I asked ACG’s carer who had been attending to Frank for the past two years if ACG had a respite service. She advised that they did so we decided to give it a go. Frank stayed overnight in ACG’s respite facility and we were delighted with the service provided as it was friendly, welcoming, provided great meals and felt safe. We now regularly avail ourselves of this service.
James had suffered numerous strokes and was severely incapacitated as a result. ACG’s Support Coordinator met with me and James in our home and the Support Coordinator advised that James was definitely a candidate for NDIS funding. ACG assisted with the preparation of the application and supporting docs required to apply for NDIS funding. The outcome was positive and James is now a client of ACG receiving daily care.
